  1. Mtunzini is not in Gauteng, it is in KZN. You have included many home brewers as breweries and many brands that are brewed under contract as breweries. Paulaner and others closed down years ago. Not serious. Keep promoting the beer industry and all is good!

    1. Thanks for the update Holger. I have to admit that I am by no means an expert on beers in SA, craft or otherwise, nor is this blog meant to revolve around lagers and ales. What I want to achieve is to promote all positive and interesting aspects of South African life and culture, including our love of beer. The information on the breweries was compiled to the best of my abilities from various sources around the internet who looked like they knew what they were talking about, but I apologise for any errors or oversights.
